Higher Output, Faster ROI
The STM Rocketbox 2.0 can produce up to 25,000 pre-rolled cones per day. Your increase in production will result in lower labor and energy costs per unit, which means that your production process will gain economies of scale, growing your profit margin.
Increasing your production capacity will also improve order filling. Using the STM Rocketbox 2.0 will allow you to stockpile inventory and fill bulk or short-notice orders. The results will be
- a significant reduction in lead times
- excellent customer service
- a competitive advantage in the market
Smart Rocketbox Technology
The STM Rocketbox 2.0 Pre-Roll Machine features Smart Rocketbox Technology, which is a proprietary innovative density software. This software lets your team set the PLS pressure, cycle time, and shaker speed for repeat orders, ensuring pre-roll packs with consistent weight and density.
Operators can make smart density adjustments using the seven-inch integrated touch screen and intuitive user interface.
How Will the Rocketbox 2.0 Pre-Roll Machine Reduce My Labor Cost?
The Rocketbox 2.0 Pre-Roll Machine will reduce labor costs in several ways.
The machine’s high output rate will reduce labor as a component of input cost per unit.
Conventional machinery requires manual input in the form of tamping and hand-packing to ensure optimal product customizability. However, with the smart technology of the Rocketbox 2.0 machine, producing and customizing orders will only require one operator.
The increase in production will reduce shifts and overtime hours, in turn reducing wages and indirect labor costs, such as management expenses.
How Does It Work?
A. Technology (Fill & Pack)
When filling pre-rolled cones, conventional machinery drops the flower into the cones from the top. The packing process involves tapping the bottom of the cones, causing the flower to distribute throughout the cone.
This filling and packing process is less than optimal since it leaves air pockets within the cones. The process of filling and packing cones with alternate machinery also lacks the necessary customizability for different strains. After the filling and packing cycle, teams have to fix each joint manually.
In contrast, the filling and packing cycle of the STM Rocketbox 2.0 differs significantly from that of our competing units. Our pre-roll machine vibrates the cones at varying frequencies, allowing the flower to distribute evenly throughout the cone in compact layers. This process leaves no weak necks, air pockets, or material inconsistencies.
With our Smart Rocketbox Technology, operators can adjust the vibration frequencies, PLR pressure, filling, and packing cycle times. These customization features let you fill and pack each strain at its optimal specifications without the need for manual adjustments. The STM Rocketbox 2.0 also fills the entire cone, right up to the closing end—ensuring a higher-quality product.
B. Density Software (Weight Accuracy)
Generally, joint production machinery doesn’t offer software or tools for ensuring consistent and accurate joint weights across batches. However, our STM Rocketbox 2.0’s proprietary built-in density software ensures that the flower material of each cone will meet your density and weight requirements.
Using the density software is quick and easy. First, the operator needs to select the appropriate cone size. The Rocketbox 2.0 is compatible with standard cone sizes: 84 mm (0.5 g), 98 mm (0.75 g), and 109 mm (1 g).
Next, the operator must enter the correct weight variance according to the order specifications on the start-up screen. The software then uses these parameters to calculate the optimal target material density. After the operator enters the actual material density, the software will provide a “fail” or “pass” icon.
If the material density is correct, the operator can make operational adjustments and start production. However, if the material fails, the software will make suggestions to improve material density—such as, for example, “decrease moisture content” or “decrease grind size.”
C. Training & Onboarding
The STM Rocketbox 2.0 Pre-Roll Machine features built-in training modules with actionable tutorials that are easy to understand and apply. The training mode also provides exclusive access to the STM Client Portal and expert support.
The tutorials shorten the learning curve of integrating the machine into your existing operations and make employee onboarding more economical. The cannabis production industry has a relatively high employee turnover, which increases the value of this training mode for your business.
What Cones Can I Use?
When using the STM Rocketbox 2.0 for pre-roll cone production, you can use high-quality paper from any reputable brand, provided that the cone size meets the machine’s compatibility specifications.
Ordering from one of the manufacturer’s authorized distributors or the manufacturer itself ensures that you’ll meet your customers’ quality standards. Products from unauthorized suppliers may have issues such as significant size deviations or poor paper structure, affecting the production process or the final product quality. Uncertified cones may also contain ingredients or chemicals that are unsafe for consumption.
